Compatibility Check Before Purchase
Xplywi specialises in vehicle-specific dash cams. Because these products are designed for selected vehicle models and rearview mirror housing structures, compatibility should be checked carefully before purchase.
For UK customers, right-hand drive vehicle layouts, mirror housings, windscreen sensor covers, model year differences, and trim levels may affect compatibility. The same vehicle model may have different installation structures depending on the year, version, or original factory equipment.
If you are not sure whether a product fits your vehicle, please contact us before placing an order and provide the following information:
- Your vehicle brand
- Your vehicle model
- Your vehicle year
- Your vehicle trim or version, if known
- Whether your vehicle is right-hand drive or left-hand drive
- A clear photo of the front of your original rearview mirror area
- A clear photo of both sides of the rearview mirror housing

These photos help us compare the mirror housing and installation area more accurately. This can reduce the risk of ordering the wrong product and help us recommend the most suitable option where possible.

Installation Questions
If you have installation questions, please contact us before forcing any part into place or modifying any cable. Vehicle-specific dash cams must be installed according to the correct mirror housing and cable connection structure.
We recommend checking the product, accessories, cable type, and installation area before installation. If you are not familiar with vehicle trim removal or wiring, professional installation is recommended.
Please note that some features, such as parking monitoring, may require an additional compatible OBD power cable or hardwire power cable. Parking monitoring is not included with every product configuration.

Important Product Notes
- Xplywi dash cams are aftermarket vehicle accessories designed for selected compatible vehicle models.
- Vehicle brand names and model names are used only to describe product compatibility.
- Xplywi is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer.
- Dash cam WiFi is for local app connection only and does not support remote viewing from another location.
- Rear cameras, where included, are generally intended for interior installation unless the product page states otherwise.
- Some rear cameras are not waterproof and should not be installed outside the vehicle or near the number plate area.
- Parking monitoring may require an additional compatible power cable and may not be included as standard.
